Our role:
Our role is to provide you with the means and ways to help no matter your location or the level of desired involvement. The greatest needs involve support for housing units, learning spaces for kids and job activation spaces for refugees to stand on their own but these are just a few examples. You can support an individual refugee family with their particular needs. You can also get involved by initiating or getting involved in an existing support group or using your skills and training to even becoming a program lead. We are here to help you channel your willingness and abilities to help the cause. We recommend reading through our website pages and checking out the “How can I help?” section to give you some ideas and examples.
Who we are:
We are people of all walks of life in all roles and functions from all over the world focused on helping vulnerable populations, including disaster victims, refugees, children with disabilities and others. Dom Druha action and foundation is run by volunteers. You can connect, chat and speak with us on our Dom Druha Discord member server. We are real people, using real names helping alleviate real problems.
Dom Druha Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your gifts and donations are 100% tax-deductible.
Our structure and operations (all volunteer-based) is such that:
- 100% of your donations support those in need
- 0% of your donations is spent on fundraising or marketing

How do we meet our objectives?
We break the traditional, distance and scale barriers by:
- Operating within the base of highly motivated, ethically-driven volunteers.
- Leveraging operational and technology solutions, including fintech.
- Providing tools and means to the volunteer support groups to help with timely assistance delivery and their own, independent fundraising.
- Leveraging digitization

- As a way for the refugees to stay in touch with their family and friends, to
- Support refugee mobility, and
- Use it as a social upward mobility force.
Our support model:
What sets us apart from other nonprofits is that we are building direct connections between donors and the refugees via the support network with “boots on the ground” in the affected regions.
Among those, are the people of Poland who shared their rooms and homes to host the refugees, and the support groups who are donating money, time and effort to sustain the help.
We need to help them.
Our programs and projects:
We require that projects are:
- Direct: gifts and donations must directly benefit the refugees.
- Targeted: no open-funded projects such as: “give us your money and we figure out what to do with them at the usual 85% efficiency rate.”

- All of our projects have measurable objectives and budgets.
- Verifiable: two independent members of our support community in the affected region (and not someone from far away) verify the need AND VOTE to support the projects. You, regardless of your location, can connect with the very support group on our community server and chat or speak with them directly.
